have been in sydney's most glorious blue mountains
and would love to show you the pics from our little adventure
especially the waratah bush laden
with flowers and also the beautiful 3 sisters
but i do not now how to move photos from my kids iPhoto library into mine.
any clues????

the colour green is soooooo soothing - a view looking to the horizon that is
only trees is mesmerising. the air was so crisp and pure. the blue
mountains really are the lungs of sydney and i am very grateful for them.

because i was also vey happy to return to my little house - it's amazing
how much you appreciate what you have when you have been without it -
i will show you some newish street art from my neighbourhood instead

but no i can't do that either, because i took those photos on my little one's
ipodtouch as well. i really need to figure out that techy problemo asap.

These 2 small films and their soundtracks speak of summer and relaxing and how I want to feel when I am home in Sydney for the summer - finding them today I just had to share them here. Enjoy.

Seu Jorge (City of God & The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou) joined forces with director Kahlil Joseph to create a kind of anti-music-video as the companion film to his recent album Seu Jorge and Almaz. Shot in the Hollywood Hills, The Model is divided into two chapters: “Marcello in Limbo” & “Oshun and the Dream”. The film takes inspiration from the Kraftwerk song of the same name. It's beautiful work.

all we can do is be with ourselves and take personal responsibility. in these revolutionary times. the ones i have been dreaming about. we can very easily blame others for what they are doing, or not doing.but it must always come back to us. with each individual being conscious.

i choose meditation.

OSHO sums it up for me below:

Man lives in unconsciousness. He lives like a robot. The major part of his being is in darkness; just a little bit has come out of the darkness, just the tip of the iceberg — and that too is very fragile. At any moment it goes back again into darkness. Somebody insults you and you lose your
consciousness. It is very fragile. You become unconscious, you start behaving in an unconscious way, and later on you yourself recognize it. You wonder ‘How did I do all this?’ You start saying ‘It happened in spite of me. I never wanted to do it.’ People have done things in anger which only insane people can do — and they were not insane, they were as sane as anybody else, but in anger they lose consciousness, in passion they lose consciousness. There are a thousand and one situations every day when we lose consciousness, so that small portion of consciousness is not very effective either. If one is alert about using it rightly, the only purpose is to meditate with that small piece of consciousness that you have now, because through meditation, more and more of the unconscious starts becoming conscious, more and more of your hidden darkness starts disappearing. Right now ninety per cent is unconscious, ten per cent is conscious. As you meditate, slowly, fifteen per cent becomes conscious, twenty per cent becomes conscious. The moment there is at least fifty per cent of consciousness and fifty per cent of unconsciousness, then you can rely upon your consciousness because now there is a balance; the unconscious cannot easily take over.

The Beatles and their music have made a huge impact on me and how I see the world. I am so grateful I had access to their albums while growing up. I scrutinised the artwork and the lyrics. They were so incredibly cool and clever. Their music makes my heart sing. Their later work talks mostly to me. For me they sang about love and freedom and individuality. I felt like they had seen the light and I wanted to walk the same path. Here are a couple of my favourites.

i give my support to OccupyWallStreet - a
leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors,
genders and political persuasions. The one thing they all have
in common is that they are part of the 99% that will no longer tolerate
the greed and corruption of the 1%. They are using the
revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve their ends and
encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of
all participants.

As we see the failing of the money and property markets in the USA
and ththe european union on the brink of a major depression, the
governments and the big banks still seem to keep feeding us lies and
the CEOs still receive their big paychecks.

We are relatively cocooned in australia at the moment and most people
i talk with don't feel that times are tough or will become tough at all.
my heart is with the peaceful protesters in liberty square NY - i pray
that the powers that be consciences are being pricked into equitable
actions for our futures

the world is changing, like it always has and always will. it seems this year, individuals found their voices and found like minds and with the help of all the new technologies, were able to band together like never before. the arab spring will go down in history as more than just a couple of arab nation revolutions. it has encouraged people from all over the globe to speak out and loudly about the things they don't like or find unjust. wikileaks and julian assange may well have even been the impetus for those revolutions. i am all for transparency. and i am all for making the world a better and fairer place. it seems like there are more of us who think this way than not. we are living in exciting times.

here is the declaration of the occupation of new york city  - big things are happening right now in the US. this could change things up BIG time and quickly. we can only hope so.....

even though i sit here in a tiny village far from NYC i give my full support.

today is also the day of REUNIFICATION of Germany. the day the wall came down 20 years ago. many people thought that day would never happen either.

today in my part of australia, we have to put our clocks forward
one hour - they call it 'daylight saving'.

i used to think it was great and all the other states that didn't
adopt it very peculiar. it seemed a cool idea to have another
hour or so to play after school or work outside until it got dark.

but now i think it's just man meddling with nature, again. can't
we just accept each day as it comes - the sun rising earlier and
earlier throught the spring and summer and the days getting
naturally longer anyways.

i've been loving waking earlier and earlier with the sun. i have
been able to do my own thing in the morning before the kids
get up and the noise of the day starts. th quiet and space is perfect
for my morning meditation. i have no need to set an alarm to fit it
in to my day.

i wonder what the consequences are on our bodies? i am going to
allow myself to go to bed when i am ready regardless of the time
and wake with the sun and see how it goes. wiht the luxury of
school hoildays on my side, none of us have to be anywhere at
any particular time so it will be an interesting experiment to see
if i can come round to the new clock without any effort or price to
pay.

after seeing the sunrise i came home & booked my flight back home to australia....for christmas...and will stay quite a bit longer than that.....i am excited.

seeing my family and friends after such a long time away is going to be surreal.

as miche said earlier today, it's all about relationship, and how one is in relationship with another. and being back home with my loved ones is what my soul needs and i am going to soak up every little bit of every little thing with everyone. there is so much i have missed this past 14 months, and so much to look forward to......
